Anthony J. “AJ” Nickel is sales director of the Southeast 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, location of The Yacht Group. He was in sales and management at National Marine Suppliers.

At Miami-Dade College:
▪ Bryan Stewart is new medical campus president. He was previously vice president of the Trinity River campus at Tarrant County College, where he implemented programs in nursing and allied health. Stewart has a bachelor’s in science from Tarleton State University, and a master’s and Ph.D. from the University of North Texas.
▪ Tommie Norris is dean of the Benjamin Leon School of Nursing. She held various leadership positions at the Unviersity of TEnnessee Health Service Center College of Nursing, most recently as associate dean for evaluation and effectiveness. Norris has a bachelor’s in nursing science from the University of Memphis, and a master’s of nursing science in community health and family nursing from the University of Tennessee.
Wilhelm Lapica has been named founding principal at Downtown Doral Charter Upper School, a grades 6-12 bilingual charter school. He was director of services for National Academic Educational Partners. Lapica has a bachelor’s in history from the University of Florida.
HEALTHCARE
Jon D. Hennemyre has been named administrator at Memorial Manor in Pembroke Pines. He was senior executive director of the Life Care Centers of America facility in Palm Beach Gardens. Hennemyre has degrees in business and education from Bowling Green State University.

From: Yale New Haven Health System, where he was executive director of corporate supply chain
About: In this newly created role, Murphy will oversee the supply chain of the health system, including the hospital-based and ambulatory facilities, and the UM Medical Group.
Also: He spent more than 14 years at YNHH. He has also been manager, supply chain at SBC/SNET (now AT&T) for eight years, and was president at Innovative Concrete Corp. for nearly 11 years.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business from Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut.
