Grammy Award-winning artist Billy Joel is bidding adieu to his New York mega mansion stocked with a ton of high-end materials and vogue features.

But, nabbing a part of music history will cost you $49 million.

The 20,000-square-foot primary home sits on 26 acres of scenic, waterside land on Centre Island, which is close to the Piano Man’s hometown of Hicksville, Mansion Global reported.

Along with the main home, the property, lovingly nicknamed Middlesea, also comes with a three-bedroom guest apartment, four-bedroom gate house and dock.

According to Architectural Digest, features include:

  • Two swimming pools

  • Helipad

  • Bowling alley

  • Wine cellar

  • Music room

  • Salon

The primary home is “currently under renovation.” The “For the Longest Time” singer wanted to put the property on the market because “whoever buys will want to do their own selections of how to paint and decorate and perhaps style the kitchen,” listing agent Bonnie Williamson told Mansion Global.

Middlesea was featured on the popular real estate Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild and folks immediately fell in love... and shared a lot of Joel puns.

“Kinda makes you rethink the impact of I’m moving out!” one person joked.

“Billy: Good luck moving up cause I’m movin out,” another said.

“I remember driving by here every day!! Great house. Great memories!” someone noted.

“I’d be happy with just the apartment in the guest house,” one person commented.

“I’d play hide and go seek with my wife every day and hope she never found me,” someone joked.

“I’m ‘keepin’ the faith’ that one day I’ll be able to afford to buy this!” another said.

“So I didn’t see a fireplace. I guess it’s a good thing coz he doesn’t know how to start it,” one person commented. “And I mean I could be wrong about that. For all you know I could be right.”

“I’d totally look into it but I don’t want that many guests,” someone noted.

“I’ve wanted to visit there for the longest time,” another joked.

The listing is held by Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty.
